Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview and Australian Consumer Law

At Flow Connect Hub Pty Ltd, we strive to deliver thorough, practical hardware engineering and electrical compliance training. Our refund and cancellation terms are designed to be clear, fair, and compliant with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Workshop Seat Cancellations and Notice Periods

Because cohort sizes at our Dawson laboratory are strictly capped at 6 to 8 workbenches, late cancellations prevent other participants from booking. The following terms apply to workshop cancellations initiated by attendees:

• 14 or More Days Notice Prior to Cohort Date: Eligible for a 100% refund of all tuition and deposits paid, minus a $50 AUD administrative processing fee, OR a 100% credit transfer to any future scheduled cohort within 12 months with no administrative fee.
• 7 to 13 Days Notice Prior to Cohort Date: Eligible for a 50% refund of total tuition, OR a 100% credit transfer to a future scheduled cohort.
• Less Than 7 Days Notice: Non-refundable. However, you may nominate a substitute attendee (colleague, apprentice, or family member) to attend in your place at no extra charge, provided they meet footwear and safety prerequisites.

3. Non-Refundable Items & Conditions

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

• Unnotified No-Shows: Failure to attend a booked lab session without prior notice forfeits 100% of the tuition fee.
• Custom Bound Reference Manuals: Physical 180-page teardown binders and schematics that have already been personalized and couriered to the attendee.
• Dismissal for Safety Non-Compliance: If an attendee is removed from the facility due to intoxication, refusal to wear mandatory safety gear, or intentional disregard of high-voltage electrical protocols.
• On-Site Facility Audits in Progress: Engineering fees for site audits that have already commenced or where formal written diagnostic reports have been delivered.

4. Rescheduling by Attendee

Attendees may request to reschedule their cohort date once free of charge if written notice is received at least 10 business days prior to the original session. Subsequent rescheduling requests incur a $75 AUD administration fee.

5. Workshop Cancellations or Rescheduling by Flow Connect Hub

In the rare event that Flow Connect Hub must cancel or postpone a workshop due to extreme regional weather (e.g. Victorian bushfire risk code red), instructor illness, or power grid failure, enrolled participants will be offered:

• A priority transfer to the next available cohort date of their choice, OR
• A 100% full refund of all amounts paid, with no administrative deductions.

6. Refund Request Process & Processing Times

To request a cancellation or refund:

1. Send an email to hello@flowconnecthub.click with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Full Name] — [Invoice/Booking Reference]".
2. State your original cohort date and the reason for the cancellation or transfer request.
3. Our administration team will review and confirm eligibility within 2 business days.

Approved refunds are processed back to the original method of payment (bank transfer or card) within 5 to 10 business days depending on your financial institution.
